Once again working closely with Escher Gunewardena Architects, we recently built out the new LA Eyeworks home on Fairfax. The iconic local brand sought a bold design which resembled otherworldly ceiling installation, encompassed in reflective silver paint both inside and out. We also built a seemingly levitating shelf system, along with a new kitchen and shop workspace for the company.

The Vision

A bold new design for a new home for an Iconic eyewear brand. A home to rebrand with.

The Challenge

Taking an aging and obsolete space that doesn't conform to current codes and company usage, building a unique and unforgettable roof structure with inventive engineering and material usage, navigating the tedious West Hollywood, and also delivering an incredible built environment that has attracted new customers and attention to the company, all within 3 months.

The Solution

Stefano Coaloa personally managed this project on site each day. We designed and built the ceiling systems and cabinetry with EGA's help.
